Micro Inn Technologies collects personal information only where it is needed to answer an admission enquiry or to enrol a student with the Virtual University of Pakistan.

What you tell us

When you submit an enquiry through this website we collect your name, phone number, and — if you choose to give them — your email address, city, preferred campus, last qualification, the programme you are interested in, and any message you write. Only your name and phone number are required.

What your browser tells us

So that our admissions team can answer you usefully, we also record which pages of this website are viewed. Your browser stores a random identifier for itself the first time you arrive. That identifier is not linked to your name, your phone or any other detail about you, it is not shared with anyone, and it is only ever used on this website. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it.

Against that identifier we record the pages visited, the approximate device type, and the website or advertisement that sent you here. Until and unless you submit the enquiry form, none of this identifies you. If you do submit the form, a summary — which faculty pages you looked at, how many times you have visited, and where you arrived from — is attached to your enquiry so that whoever calls you back already knows what you were interested in.

If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal we record nothing at all, and you can still use every part of the site including the enquiry form.

The website assistant

The chat assistant on this site is powered by Google’s Gemini service. When you send it a message, the text of your conversation is transmitted to Google in order to produce a reply. Please do not type anything into it that you would not want handled by a third party.

If you give the assistant your name and phone number so that we can call you back, we save those details in the same admissions enquiry list described above, together with a record of the conversation. If you would rather not use the assistant at all, the enquiry form and our phone numbers do exactly the same job.

What we do not do

We do not identify people who simply browse this website. We do not capture anything you type into the enquiry form unless you press Send. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for marketing, and we do not track you across other websites. Apart from the assistant described above, and the services that host this website and send our email, we do not pass your details to anyone else.

How we use it

We use these details to contact you about admission, entry requirements, fees and admission dates, and in aggregate to understand which programmes prospective students are most interested in.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept only as long as they are useful for the admission cycle they relate to, after which they are removed. Page-view records are kept for the current admission cycle and then deleted.

This wording describes what the website actually does. It should still be reviewed and approved by the institute before the site goes live.
